Job Responsibilities

• Develop features and improvements to the product suite in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
• Collaborate with Product Management during refinement to break down requirements into development tasks to be completed during sprints
• Write code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices
• Conduct peer code reviews of fellow Scrum team members following code review guidelines
• Participate in rotating weekday and weekend on-call rotations to assist troubleshooting production operations, security operations, and urgent engineering issues
• Complete and maintain required security training in to access sensitive data in production environments during operations support

Basic Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a software engineering role
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Clear and coherent written communication skills, including visual representations of data
• Experience with Go (or similar language)
• Experience in developing and using RESTful APIs for interaction between web-scale systems
• Experience using source control tools like Git and trunk-based development practices
• Experience with database design and data modeling
• Comfortable working in an iterative Agile development environment using Scrum methodology
• Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS
